Brain Slicing Mold

The Brain Matrix is used to prepare sections from specific regions of animal brain tissue. We offer molds for mouse and rat brains in two orientations: coronal sections (perpendicular to the midline) and sagittal sections (parallel to the midline). Section thickness options of 1 mm and 0.5 mm are available. The mold is made of high-quality aluminum alloy with precise dimensions, smooth and even cutting slots, and uniform thickness, ensuring high reproducibility during the sectioning process. Custom molds for other animal brains are also available, including monkey, pig, chicken, duck, rabbit, guinea pig, and more.
